Trends show that last years Christmas hits of 2009 are set to big hits
for the 2010 Christmas period too, and that classic Christmas toys are
set to fill stockings again this year.
There are many new toys which are coming out this year which are
trying to get to the top spot for this years Christmas toys best
sellers list and on to every kids wish list for toys. Every single
year new and better toys come out with new features and new toys come
out based on new kids tv shows and movies which are all aimed at
getting parents to buy them for their kids and to get kids to keep
asking their parents to buy them.
However according to trends this year the newer toys may be out of
luck as a lot of the old classic toys and last years best sellers are
set to be at the top of the list this year again for santa to be
bringing down the chimney for this years christmas 2010.
Last years surprise best seller which was a little hamster toy known
as
zhu zhu pets surprised
everyone by selling out and causing mass panic trying to get them in
time for Christmas. No-one expected these new toys to be such a sell
out hit but apparently they are due to repeat their success this year
with brand new zhu zhu pets and the kung zhu hamsters which are trying
to get the boys side of the market I have even seen planes and hotels
advertised with this years zhu zhu pet toys. If these cause as much of
a selling panic as last year these are going to be on the list of many
parents desperatly trying to find one in stock before Christmas Eve.
Another great consistant seller set to be in the top list of many
familys Christmas list is the fun word game
Bananagrams, created by an
american family this word game seems to make a greater performance
every year since its initial release. Even during the non christmas
period Bananagrams is a hit with families across American and the rest
of the world alike. The game is a little like scrabble and all the
words come in a banana shaped pouch but there is no board.
As always teddy bears are another classic best seller popular for
hundreds of years and will probably be popular for years to come.
Teddy bears and dolls are a favourite with boys and girls on birthdays
and christmas and they show no sign of dropping in popularity and
could be in the top ten best sellers of this years Christmas toys.
From paddington to the classic soft fluffy bears kids always seem to
want a teddy bear.
However they are a few new toys rivaling for the top spot and they
seem to be making a small dent in the top sellers list and hoping to
become this years must have impossible to get hold of toy that every
kid is demanding under their tree. First up trying to nudge the
classics of their perch is a Garbage Truck called Stinky. Stinky the
garbage truck is a singing farting garbage truck from Matchbox which
eats cars and makes singing and farting noises and has already shown
some signs of making its way to the top of this years list however it
is uncertain if it will knock the classics off the top spot. Another
toy that seems to be doing better and better every year is the Ben 10
range of toys which now include alien force and ultimate alien. Every
year Ben 10 gets more and more popular with boys and his toys are seen
around the top 10, with the new TV show and Onmitrix he might just
make it to the top of the christmas wish list and are giving the
classics like zhu zhu pets and bananangrams a run for their money.
